This flickr link is some photos of a recent weekend's haul of - largely -
protected birds shot by duck shooters.

 

They include the most un-duck like bird found shot this year - a
Yellow-billed Spoonbill. Rescuers also witnessed shooters firing from cars
at a wetlands near Rushworth.

 

4 Red-necked Avocets

1 Black-winged Stilt

2 Eurasian Coots

1 Black-tailed Native-hen

2 Freckled Ducks

1 Hardhead

1 Grey Teal
