September/ early October but over recent years have been starting earlier
and displaying for shorter periods. Not sure what is happening there. Murray
Hunt has some Great-billed Herons which are becoming used to his boat. It is
best to find them before they start breeding. I would think that August is
the best month for you but that is the least likely time to find the
I am going to be away for the next two months but when home would be happy
to help you plan.
