Another 33 dead Freckled Ducks were recovered from Browns Swamp, near Donald, in north west Victoria over Easter. A Freckled Duck with a broken wing was rescued and is being given veterinary care in Melbourne. This brings the total Freckled Duck found dead this season to 76 (43 last week). The dead birds, along with swans, coots, grebes, avocets, a Musk Duck and dozens of game species, will be displayed this morning outside 1 Treasury Place, East Melbourne, at 10 am. =============================== To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: http://birding-aus.org =============================== |
