Greetings, This morning at about 8 am a strange mixed flock or group of flocks flew over my House in Yungaburra, Atherton Tablelands. I say group of flocks as the birds were not mixed species through the group but flying together all the same. There were about 9 Barred Cuckoo-shrikes, 25 Topknot Pigeons and one Channel-billed Cuckoo. They were flying east at about 45 metres. Hot on their heals came a flock of about 50 Figbirds but they landed in my trees. The figbirds seemed to be an aggregation of young birds. Regards, Alan =============================== To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: http://birding-aus.org =============================== |
