Carnarvon duck

I have just paid $1,285 for a fully flexible return to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah via Singapore. Two weeks shared car hire, internal airfares and accom plus food will add up to $700 extra to the cost. I will probably have more ticks than one duck by the time I get back.

I have not factored in the possible cost of any ransom payable to the Sultan of Sulu's guerrillas if the current argey-bargey blows up further while I am there :-)

Cheers,

Carl Clifford

Just had a look at air fares to Geraldton from Adelaide - It's worse than
Broome !! Absolute minimum would be over $1000 return, and up to $1500,
depending on when you went. Then there's car hire and fuel to get to
Carnarvon and accomm and food at Geraldton/ Carnarvon. Stupid ! It would be cheaper and easier to cruise around Brisbane in a submarine. Ok Philip ,
I've seen the light.
Goodbye duck.

Tony
