Hi John. Eremaea is based on Clements taxonomy which uses the name
"Australian Kite" for Elanus axillarus and reserves "Black-shouldered Kite"
for Elanus caeruleus. If you click on "full list" you will see a map which
shows the location. Admittedly there could have been more information in the
text.

Hi folks,

Not knowing how to correspond with Eremaea I wonder if someone on this list
can explain the following sighting on the South and Central Qld list for
last week.

It was submitted by an Ed Fraser and referred to an AUSTRALIAN Kite and a
location of Fraser 1 degree cell.

Both pieces of information are rather useless for anyone wanting to follow
the sighting up.

John
