The Sooty terns picked up along the NSW coast and in and around Sydney, swept in by the recent storms, have been released. 14 birds were picked up and brought to the Taronga Zoo Animal Hospital for rehabilitation and 8 survived. A short video of their release off Sydney Heads is on the SMH website http://www.smh.com.au/nsw/one-good-tern-20130220-2eroe.html Chris Gregory =============================== To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: http://birding-aus.org =============================== |
