The Sooty terns picked up along the NSW coast and in and around Sydney,
swept in by the recent storms, have been released. 14 birds were picked up
and brought to the Taronga Zoo Animal Hospital for rehabilitation and 8
survived. A short video of their release off Sydney Heads is on the SMH
website
