Paul Haddy photographed an adult black-backed gull he thought might be a Kelp Gull in Dampier Creek on Monday, 28 January 2013. It is another Lesser Black-backed Gull. To me, it looks a little paler on upper wing and slightly heavier billed than the Broome bird.
