Caught up with a friend who works with NSW National Parks at the office at Nielsen Park and he told me he saw a Sooty Tern on the beach there. Nielsen Park is inside the harbour maybe 2km from South Head. Swells of 2 metres and bird flew around but came back. Haven't seen it myself but maybe worth a look.
