A couple of people referred to an online Age article about duck shooting. This is no longer available. Please contact The Age on 8667 2000 if you'd like it re-published. Here's an article published 17/8/12 about new hunting laws. These were introduced in November, with minimal public consultation. They include provision for 12 to 18-year-olds to receive a licence to hunt ducks without passing the Waterfowl Identification Test, and receiving it free. A licence normally costs over $200. http://www.theage.com.au/opinion/politics/game-on-relaxed-rules-to-allow-teenage-shooters-a-free-licence-to-kill-20120816-24bf3.html =============================== To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: http://birding-aus.org =============================== |
