Tip management are concerned for the safety of persons intruding on the Tip.
They are happy for people to be escorted there by George Swann but do not want
people wandering about on their own. Even a birding Council employee got into
trouble this morning. It may be possible to see the bird from beyond the fence
but persons wishing to enter should arrange for George to escort them at a
convenient time. His contact details are below. George will not charge for his
services.
Two friends and I are arriving in Broome tomorrow night and planning to look
for the bird on Saturday. It was there most of today. The ID is not confirmed
but has been narrowed to this species or the closely related Heuglin's Gull.
