Hi Steve,
Having grown up in Diamond Creek and gone to school at Diamond Creek Primary and Hurstbridge High while it was in the grounds of Eltham High and at Hurstbridge and lived also at Nutfield and Cottlesbridge, I find it incredible that you could find Bell Miners in that area. They were always a backdrop to life in The Valley. Where could they have gone?

I'm chasing a year tick. Can anyone point me to a Bell Miner colony
near Heidelberg Heights?  My regulars between Diamond Creek and
Kinglake  seem to have decamped in recent years.
