Steve,

La Trobe Wildlife sanctuary. normally open on Sundays, has a colony near the 
southern boundary ( melways 19J6 )accessible from Main Drive 19G5. With the 
wind in the right direction i can hear them from the suburb to the east ( 
Macleod ),
