All,
I have been approached to write a history of ornithology in the Northern
Territory and am about half-way through drafts and research for the
(increasingly daunting) project.
I think that I have the early days and most of the last century covered
reasonable well but would appreciate any advice from list members of
prominent
ornithologists and other that have made a contribution to birding (in the
broadest sense of that word) in the NT.
I am particularly interested in the namesd and research history of
practitioners
that have worked for governmenmt and non-government agencies - and whose
work
may not have turned up in the usual journals.
I would also be interested in any links to publications in international or
non-birding journals that i may not have caught yet.
Thanks in advance and happy to discuss,
Bob Gosford
PS: I have a (very) tight deadline so sooner rather than later please!
