Sincere apologies for giving offense, both in general and to you
specifically. You've been a help to me on various email lists over the
years on several occasions. My father's Asperger's so I'm very well
acquainted with at least one such person and that doubtlessly colours my
impressions of the condition in general.  Apologies again to you for
overgeneralizing.
