Hi again everyone,

We have quite a few entries for the Birdlife Victoria 2012 Twitchathon - but
there is still time to enter! And it's the sort of event where the more
teams participating the better!

If you have ever considered participating in either the 8-hour (champagne)
event or the full-blooded 24-hour event, then this is your opportunity. All
the entry forms, rules and even some tips and hints are available from the
Victoria section of the Birdlife website:

Participating in the Twitchathon is a great deal of fun and has the
additional benefit that all money raised goes to support worthwhile bird and
bird-conservation related projects!

I have heard from the ABC journalist, and he is definitely going to be
involved to run a story on the Twitchathon for ABC Radio National (I'm not
sure of the date of the program, yet). He is very interested in speaking to
several teams and is also interested in talking to any "characters" that
participate in this event. So if you know a "character", or ARE a
"character" then please let me know!

Also, if any teams are going to be tweeting, posting on Facebook or using
any other form of social media, please let me know!

Paul Dodd

Docklands, Victoria
