I was fortunate to see no fewer than six Rufous Scrubbirds in a single morning in the Border Ranges National Park in northern NSW, with several offering excellent albeit brief views. There is more information on this and other birds in the park here: http://sunshinecoastbirds.blogspot.com.au/. I'm reluctant to give specific site details. I once shared information about scrubbird territories I found in the Gloucester Tops area and since then, the birds have suffered greatly due to excessive call playback.
