Hi birders, Ruth and I are heading to Costa Rica around the Christmas/New Year period. This will be our first visit to Central America. We are travelling with non-birders, but will likely have opportunity for birding. Currently we are staying for a few days at Montezuma, a few days at Pirate Bay, a few days at and around Quepos - then about a week that is currently unallocated. I am sure that we can persuade our non-birding friends to accompany to cloud forest and so forth, but can't do any full-on birding-only tours. Any advice - where to go, local guides, not-to-be-missed locations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
