Dear B-A, The Bureau of Meteorology is rolling out a graphical forecast system called Forecast Explorer http://www.bom.gov.au/weather-services/about/forecasts/about-graphical-forecasts.shtml The BOM site says "The Forecast Explorer service enables the user to find, display and zoom into weather details for their area down to the 6 kilometre grid scale by point and click." FE covers land and marine forecasts. It looks to be a handy service, particularly for estimating how much sea-sickness meds to take for pelagic trips.
