Thanks Nikolas and everyone else for your help.

I received quite a few replies and all of them agree it's a Rufous Songlark.

Regards,

Mark

Hi Mark,

Although it is not a lark it has 'lark' in its misnomer ;-)

It is a Rufous Songlark.

Cheers,

Nikolas

G'day everyone,

I took a photo of a bird I saw this morning at the Mount Bass Firetrail in
the Royal National Park, and I can't work out what it is. I thought it might
be some sort of Lark, but I'm not sure.

If someone could have a look for me that would be great.

Link to picture of the bird. http://bit.ly/QWpZSo

Regards,

Mark
