Huge flock of mature and brown young Pied Honeyeaters, 25 km north of Tilpa on the eastern road to Bourke. Hard to estimate, but at least 50 and probably up to 100 rose up and wheeled around several times before settling each time in a line of low green bushes/trees along a dried up water course. They moved on northwards before we could get photos. Peter an Bev Morgan. =============================== To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: http://birding-aus.org =============================== |
