G'day all

I'm having a couple of days in Dorrigo in October. The main target is
the Paradise Riflebird but I'll enjoy catching up with some of the
east coast forest birds I haven't seen for quite a few years. I'll
have a whole day and the preceeding afternoon in the area.

So, apart from Dorrigo NP, where else should I go? I know there are
places in the district for Rufous Scrub-bird but I think they are
miles along 4wd tracks so not really possible for me. Superb
Fruit-Dove is another I'd like to tick but I guess that could be
anywhere in the forests.

I'll be coming up from Armidale so anywhere along the way I should
check out? I've been to Wollomombi Falls and the New England NP (got
well and truly bushed there once).

Probably best to concentrate on Dorrigo NP.

Cheers
Steve
