Good boat trip with Daintree Boatman (Murray Hunt) on Aug 20: Little Kingfisher 1 Papuan Frogmouth 2 Amethystine Python 1 Barra Farm near Wonga beach 15 Radjah Shelduck 30 Gull-billed Tern including one obviously smaller bird with a small eye patch, maybe affinis but did not see it well enough to confirm. Black-necked Stork 1 sub-ad White-headed Stilt 40 Common Sand 1 Aug 21 Little Kingfisher 1 in front of hide at Hastie's Swamp, my first sighting from here, and amazingly obliging.
