Will moving refugee processing offshore make it harder to get to Christmas Is ?

Dear B-A,

With the Federal Government now moving refugee processing out of Australia, it 
will be interesting to see what happens to the air service between the mainland 
and C.I. When the detention centre staff are moved to Manus Island, Malaysia, 
Clipperton Island or whatever remote hole the Government decides to dump them 
in, there will be far less demand. I can see the present 4 days per week being 
cut back to 1.

I imagine the C.I. economy will cop a pasting from the decision as well.
