Tim,

Fear not - this is what you suspected . It is the old "Pacific City" 
development designed by Walter Burley-Griffin (note all the circles!!) and long 
since gone.

At least we should hope so. Recent Coalition Governments in both NSW and 
Queensland seem capable of almost anything.
