Thanks a lot Russ! Can you, or anybody, point me to a website/mp3 of Black-breasted Buttonquail call for private use? I am not sure that I have time to go there, but would like to at least know what to listen.

best,

Jurek

Jurek,
Both BBBQ and Ground Parrot are resident birds and can be seen year round (though easier in the breeding season). The most reliable spot for BBBQ remains Inskip Point (250km N of Brisbane) and for Ground Parrot, off the Cooloola Way (about 25km SE of Inskip Point). Both birds are seen elsewhere, a bit closer to Brisbane, but with less reliability.
