Barren Grounds CLOSED

I just checked the National Parks website & the message there says that the 
closure is for maintenance to be carried out on roads and tracks damaged in 
all the wet weather. The park is expected to re-open on the 30th June.

Hi all

The nature reserve will be closed for a period of time, while National Parks 
carry out necessary work.
The main gate is closed and there is no vehicle access.

Unfortunately people are also barred from entry, so the ground parrots will 
probably be frolicking all over the place!  At this time there is no 
indication of when the work will be completed.
