Re your question on Morcombe taxonomy.
I couldn't find anywhere within my Morcombe app (Android version) where it
specifies which taxonomy it follows, but I did a quick check thru its
taxonomic index & the first 50 or so birds listed follow C&B 2008 in naming
& taxonomic order. I also noted none of the recent IOC splits are listed.
