Off topic: transit of Venus - photo and scope setup

I have only just got to the computer after spending yesterday dressed as an 
eighteenth century naval man and showing lots of kids and adults the real 
thing. Much better than watching it on the news or even a live screen. I 
watched it from before second contact to after third. A 50x scope will give 
a good image.
