I wanted to publicly thank Chris Watson for one of the most entertaining
and informative reads on a Princess Parrot expedition I have yet to peruse.
Great job Chris! After flying from California with the main focus being
Princess in 2008 I can't tell you how shocked I was to learn that one could
be in Australia and leave at 7AM and be at the Princess location by
afternoon! By comparison I left Alice Springs and didnt get to Princess
Land in the Gibson until 2 days later. But fortunately just like Chris I
got to view and film these icons of the Australian desert. Many of my mates
here have already read about the expedition here:

Years later and I still never tire of viewing the footage I took of the
species. What a gorgeous graceful bird! Thanks again Chris fantastic
report I thoroughly enjoyed it!
