The following is a digest of Sightings Reported on Birdpedia for the period
Monday, May 7, 2012 to Sunday, May 13, 2012:

Area: SA

Date: Sunday, May 6, 2012

Location: Tennyson

Brown Quail (Coturnix ypsilophora) (1) On upper edge of sand dunes, between
Audrey Street and Fort Street, Tennyson. Reported by Sue Burnel.

Reported by: Bob Snell on Thursday, May 10, 2012

---------------------------------------------

Date: Sunday, May 6, 2012

Location: On private property on Ferries McDonald Road, Monarto

Malleefowl (Leipoa ocellata) (2) A pair was seen briefly by 3 members of the
malleefowl survey team as we looked for mounds. They were about 300m from the
active mound discovered 3 weeks ago, so we assumed they are the pair working
that mound. The remaining 4 members of the team missed out, as the birds
quietly melted into the background.

Reported by: Barbara and Peter Bansemer on Tuesday, May 8, 2012

---------------------------------------------

Date: Monday, May 7, 2012

Location: The Pines Reserve

Yellow-faced Honeyeater (Lichenostomus chrysops) (2)

Saw two birds about 100m from the carpark. They were flitting around the base
of an olive tree. Not sure if this is an uncommon sighting for the reserve, but
noticed that it wasn't on the reserve list so thought it worth reporting.

Reported by: Michael Warnes on Monday, May 7, 2012
