It is a pity that the author of the article cited, Marlene Condon, was not
more concerned about the tens, if not hundreds of millions of birds that
are killed every year in the USA by birds hitting buildings and other
man-made structures (US Fish and Wildlife Service figures)
But then, one should never let facts get in the way of a good story.
