G'day all, Just putting the word out for anyone heading to Alice Springs in the next few weeks, Power & Water have again closed the sewage treatment ponds to birding access due to more reports of wild dogs in the area. They will have a shooter at the facility, and until further notice the facility will be off limits for birdwatchers. I'll let you know as soon as I hear that they are re-opening. Cheers, -- Chris Watson Coordinator Land for Wildlife - Alice Springs *Low Ecological Services P/L* PO Box 3130, Alice Springs NT 0871 ph - 08) 89 555 222 mob - 0419 358 942 =============================== To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: http://birding-aus.org =============================== |
