Hi All

After a lot of angst and with much regret we have withdrawn from
a trip to West Papua scheduled to depart from Denpasar on 8 October, returning
to Denpasar on 26 October. This leaves two spots available. Last year
participants saw 15 birds-of-paradise, including displaying Wilson's BOPs, plus
more than 200 other bird species and many spectacular butterflies etc etc.

The tour incorporates a variety of habitats in West Papua, including a trip to
the heaths of Lake Habbema
(>3000m) to see rare montane species. In addition, at the end of the trip
there is
the optional extra of a few days on Biak Island, which lies off the northern
coast of West Papua, for yet more special
endemics.

If this cornucopia of birding sounds like your cup of tea, please contact
Richard Noske as soon as
possible via email on

Kind regards

Judith
