Location: Copper Coast Hwy east of Kadina at 33 59 39S 137 47 45E
Black Falcon (Falco subniger) (2) First saw the a female Falcon flying quite
spectacular fast and low trying to grab an Australasian Pipit, the Pipit
managed to duck and weave enough to gain a life saving gap only to be attacked
again except this time by the male who came down fast from above! didn't see
the end result as the chase descended below the roadside trees!

Barn Owl (Tyto alba) (3) Two birds typically sitting on fence posts and another
Owl sitting on top of a large Prickly Pear growing on the side of the road!

Location: Finniss
Southern Emu-wren (Stipiturus malachurus) (4) Observed on private property
along Tookayerta Creek,about 1km upstream of the junction with the Finniss
River.I watched them at close range as they moved through an area of
swampland,where they were feeding mainly in patches of Juncus and Phragmites.
