I recorded ALL my WTNT sightings on lists in Eremaea. I was very pleased to see needletails on almost 15 separate occasions over this season. This is in contrast to last (Summer 2010/11) where I only saw 1-2. However the majority of my sightings from this Summer were of single birds to small flocks (5-10). The most I saw at one time was 50-60 over a 10 minute period in clear, calm conditions.
