Martin O'Brien has very gently, but quite correctly, brought to my attention that I "reproduced, adapted and communicated" a copyrighted article by posting the text of the article from The Auk, the link to which was provided by Ian May (quite properly). As I told Martin, I didn't give it a moment's thought - but I should have. Apologies - to wherever such apologies should be directed.
