Hi all, I was very surprised to find a Little Curlew feeding on the sports fields at Kingsford Smith Park in Ballina this morning. It was still there when I left at 11am, despite being flushed a number of times by a raptor, walkers & kids kicking a ball around nearby. Even the tandem skydivers landing nearby had little effect on it! I've posted a photo on Birdline NSW. http://www.eremaea.com/BirdlineRecentSightings.aspx?Birdline=2 Cheers, Steve Ballina =============================== To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: http://birding-aus.org =============================== |
