Rare record for northern Australia, well outside usual range.

Chiming Wedgebill
Tobermory, Plenty Highway. Approx. 20ks west of NT/Qld border
Stopped to check out Little Eagle. Heard 2 birds in distance from roadside singing "Did you get drunk, did you get drunk". Calling repeatedly. An easterly record for this species (co-ordinates taken). Plenty Highway (Qld side) jumping with birds! 8 Black Falcons, similar numbers of Spotted Harriers and Flock Bronzewings. Hundreds of Singinging Bushlarks and Crimson Chats. Bustards, Brolgas, Australuan Pratincole and Ground Cuckoo-Shrike(NT side) also seen, to name a few.
