Hi Kirri,
Have you discovered Eremaea Birdline? http://www.eremaea.com/
Browsing the latest Birdline NSW sightings will show you if there has been anything exciting seen in the area recently. http:// www.eremaea.com/BirdlineRecentSightings.aspx?Birdline=2 Also browsing the latest NSW Lists may also turn up a list for your specific area. Also there are several tools such as Species Map that will give you further access to sightings per given season, etc.

Hello again,
Last time i was on here i asked everyone about great birds to see around hat head nsw area....i received a lot of feedback and i thankyou, all those that replied... It helped greatly, and i was able to see a male Southern Emu Wren at Hat head...which was rather exciting... I now have another question..due to my transient/travelling lifestyle, i'm now in Port Macquarie and am very intrigued as to what birds have been observed lately?? Today, i arrived at the caravan park in port macquarie nsw and watched as a square tailed kite flew above me, low above the treetops and my motorhome, circling around in the caravan park...bizarre...so that was a nice introduction to port macquarie, and a new bird for me Anyway...any help in the right direction regarding birds around port macquarie would be most welcome
Thanks in advance
Kirri
