Enough cloud has cleared in the the latest Aqua satellite image to see
Lake Eyre refilling with what looks like a major flood in the Macumba:

Also now water in Lake Torrens further south where there was a huge
Banded Stilt breeding event 2 years ago.

9 days ago it looked much drier:
