Published sightings for the week ending 19 Feb 2012.

Thu 16 Feb Scarlet-chested Parrot, Red-lored Whistler, Black-eared Miner, Striated Grasswren, Shy Heathwren Gluepot Reserve South Australia
A few productive early morning hours: 1 male + 1 female Scarlet-chested Parrot 1 adult and 1 sub-adult Red-lored Whistler 2 flocks of miners, the first one of ~10 exclusively Black-eared Miners 2 Striated Grasswrens 2 Shy Heathwrens

Spotted Nightjar Morgan Area.
A successful big day up north, firstly with a Spotted Nightjar being flushed near Mount Mary and then a Little Eagle at Morgan CP. A full house of Woodswallows representing, Masked, White-browed , White-breasted, Black-faced and Dusky. The latter seen at Kaiser Stuhl CP. One female Freckled Duck and six Pink-eared Duck at Tanunda Ponds. ( 122 species for the day )

Small numbers totalling about 20 in the far NE corner of the park

Sun 12 Feb Spotless Crake Laratinga Wetlands Mt barker
Our first port of call this morning was Laratinga Wetlands while on a big day out around Adealide which produced one Spotless Crake. Other interesting sightings were two individual Australian Hobbies at Carrington and Aldinga. 120 White-winged Choughs were observed foraging in an old paddock along Browns Road, Monarto. A good complement of waterfowl was seen at Paiwalla Swamp, representing six Pink-eared Duck, five Blue-billed Duck, three Musk Duck and one Freckled Duck. (131 species for the day.)

Sat 11 Feb Freckled Duck Tanunda Sewage Ponds
Single female freckled duck, along with wood, hardhead, pink-eared, blue-billed, Australasian shoveler, Pacific black and grey teal. Also one common sandpiper.
