Greetings,
I have just been sent a link to this video taken about 18 months ago. The
Golden Bowerbird in this video not only cached food but also decorations.
This cache was about 10 metres from the bower and that seems about normal
for the birds I have watched. In times of rain he would hang up his
treasures to dry. Unfortunately this bird is no longer at this site. He went
missing part way through the 2010 season.

As well as knots and broken stems I have seen these birds cache food in
birdsnest ferns. 

Caching of food in Toothbills is not so well known so if anyone gets some
observations I would love to hear of them.
