Hannah,
I strongly agree about local native plants - and many natives that are not
local have weedy potential, especially wattles and eucalypts. I recommend
googling and contacting the local branch of the SGAP (Society of growing
Australian Plants)

as well as looking into local bushregen groups. Contact your local council.
Do this before going to local commercial nursery
