Bar-breasted Honeyeater, Green-backed Gerygone
Darwin Botanical Gardens
Two individuals of the honeyeater were observed half way up the hill from the car park feedng in a melaleauca. The gerygone was on the flat. Also observed a Varied Triller and White-bellied Cuckoo-shrike.

Spotted Whistling-Duck
Leanyer Sewage Ponds, Darwin
The Spotted Whistling-Duck first seen 27/12/11 at Leanyer Sewage Ponds was refound this afternoon and was observed from 1640 to 1810. This is the first record of the species for the Northern Territory.

Sanderling, Grey Plover
Lee Point
Other morning sea bird highlights were Great Knot, Caspian/ Little/ Gull-billed Terns, Grey-tailed Tattler, Ruddy Turnstone, Golden Plover and a juvenile Sea Eagle that scared the rest as it patrolled the beach.
