Hi all,

Found a Semi-palmated Plover here in Bundaberg SEQld at first light this
morning on a very high tide. Many thanks to Jeff Davies & Mike Carter for
comments on the photos to confirm the id. It was on private land where waders
congregate on very high tides. It may well use the nearby mudflats at Burnett
Heads but unfortunately I'll be on a wader survey of The Great Sandy Straits
from now until Monday so won't be able to try to relocate it.

If it hangs around I will try to organise access for anyone thinking of having
a look for it. Please contact me off list. Unfortunately I doubt I will have
email available before Monday to answer any queries.

Chris
