For the first time, the 2012 duck shooting season will be regulated by the Department of Primary Industries instead of the Department of Sustainability and Environment. What this means will only become clear when the season starts but already, the pro-hunting spin about the season has conveyed the idea that ducks are pests. This should be hugely concerning for birdwatchers. =============================== To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: http://birding-aus.org =============================== |
