This is a new and temporary situation. We received some communication from some
portion of the US government and apparently our initial reaction was overly
cautious, particularly with regards to binocs and spotting scopes. We expect to
have this resolved early in 2012. We regret this TEMPORARY inconvenience.

Henry,

I understand that you have said that:

". In some cases the manufacturer or their licensed US distributor limits where
we may

ship their product"

However, I have just attempted find any 10x binoculars on your web site which
can be shipped to Australia. I was unable to find any model in any price range
in any brand.

Below is a list of ALL the currently stocked 10x binoculars you sell in the
price range $250 to $2,000 plus examples of all brands in the price range <$250

That is a total of 86 models from all your brands. None of these can be shipped
to Australia.

It appears as if you are no longer shipping any binoculars in any brand to
Australia.

I have been unable to find any.

It seems that I will have to buy from Adorama as they are still shipping
binoculars to Australia.

Regards,
