Afternoon all,
I am continuing my long trip around NSW (with a couple of weeks in Cairns/Iron
Range) and am about to head to m y sisters place in Brisbane. I am after some
information on potential sites for the following species (which are ones I have
missed so far in the Tweed valley and won't have another chance to add to my
annual list):
Paradise Riflebird, Regent Bowerbird, White-headed Pigeon (I know this can be
hard without fruiting trees)
OR
Mangrove Honeyeater, Red Knot, Beach Stone-curlew?
I am likely to only have limited time (2 to 3 hours one morning - unless there
is a kid friendly activity such as park, short bushwalk or beach nearby) and I
will be based near Chermside in the north. A suggested site for either of these
groups in close proximity would be appreciated.
Cheers,
Petere
