Hi Keith,
BrisBOCA, which will be re-named to BirdLife Brisbane South as of January 1
will be holding two beginners' walks in the January Holidays. These will be
on Wednesday, January 11 at Riverdale Park at Meadowbrook (Logan City) from
0800-1000 and on Wednesday, January 18 at Crystal Waters Park off Reisling
Street, Thornlands (Redlands) 0800-1000 - whilst not specifically aimed at
juniors, children and young people are most welcome to attend, the venues
have been chosen so there are some reasonably tame birds present and the 2
hour timeslot was made to allow for short attention spans - both these parks
have playground areas. Depending on the success of these, others can be
organised.
